National Park Service voices need for new signs on National Mall - Washington Business Journal:

According to the NPS, the aging signagew on the National Mall and surrounding memorial parkas lacks uniformity and will be replaced to improvse how visitors navigate aroundthe area. The job, worthh more than $2 million, will be spreadc between two contractors. The first part consistse of a design study awardedeto Pasadena, Calif-based Hunt Design. Under the $500,000o contract, which has not been completed yet, Hunt will determinse the look, size and number of The second contract, worth about $1.5 million, goes to Manassas-basefd Color-Ad Signs and Exhibits to fabricatre and makethe signs.
