Maria Elna Flora, 59, of Sacramento allegedlhy tookabout $350,000 from her insuranc customers for what she said were high-interest real estate investments. Instead, she used the moneyg for nearly daily slot machine sessions at Thunder Valleyt Casinonear Lincoln, according to a release from the officse of Attorney General Jerry Brown. From January 2005 through Augusf 2007, she convinced at leasr 10 of her clients, who range in age from 67 to 92, to transfert money from their insurance policies and saving s accountsto her.
