In April, Nixon and Quinn, along with six otheer Midwestern governors, to LaHood asking him to support planz for rail corridors between cities intheir states, including St. Louids to Chicago and St. Louis to Kansas City. Illinois has completed an environmental impacft statement forthe Chicago-St. Louis corridor. “Missouri and our partner states in the already have a competitivre advantage because we have been working on this rail initiativew for more than a Nixon said in a statement afterthe roundtable.
