The firm will help the State Departmeny find everything from warehouse and industriaol space to living quartersfor U.S. Embassu workers from the Middle East to Central The State Department operates in 176 countries and 260 citieas aroundthe world, with about 75,000 and 71 million square feet spreacd over 18,000 properties. Gary R. Anglemyer, deputuy director of the project for theValuatiob Group, said some of the work will be parse out to Colliers affiliates in cities close to where the State Departmengt is looking for "It gives you lots of opportunities to but then, there's some cities where you migh t not want to go," he said in an interview "Most of it's embassies and consulates, residentialluy oriented, but it could involvse anything.
" has 267 officezs in 57 countries, and Anglemyer said the Statde Department contract, awarded in October 2007, could help the firm secured additional work in the countries where the governmentg has operations.
